Generally speaking, traditional sand screws produce material with a moisture content of about 15-20%. That sloppy sand can be impossible to run up a stacker, takes weeks to dry and wears on other equipment. Meanwhile, the precious water is wasted as it usually evaporates before finding your pond.

Key Features:

• Single or twin screw models accept feed sizes up to 3/4” (19mm). Separates unwanted slime and dirt from sand.
• Valuable ultrafines that collect below the screen are flushed back to the screw.
• Deeper bed depth combined with sidewall media produces a drier product.
• Off-the-shelf pillow block bearing installed outside the tank to shield from moisture.
• Curved shape eliminates dead spots for material to gather, which is common at 90° angles.
